FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for analyzing samples using inductively coupled plasma mass-spectrometry obtained by laser ablation (LA-ICP-MS). The method of the mass-cytometric analysis based on laser ablation using a laser ablation mass-cytometer comprises the steps, in which: pulses of a laser beam are sent to a plurality of sample sites; each ablative jet is captured separately; each of the ablated jets captured separately is transferred into an inductively coupled plasma (ICP); each of the separately captured and transferred ablative jets is ionized into the ICP, generating ions for the mass-cytometric analysis. Moreover, the laser-ablation mass-cytometer contains an injector capable of transferring ablative jets to the ICP; the injector has an inlet channel of the injector disposed in the laser-ablation source, the inlet channel of the injector is adapted to capture the ablation jets. The method further comprises the steps of: introducing a capture gas stream for introducing ablative jets into the cone of the injector sample; and injecting the transfer gas stream separately from the capture gas stream to the injector to transfer the ablation jets from the sample cone to the IPC.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of the cell analysis.
