FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the selected nucleic acid structures to fight the western corn rootworm, also to RNA molecule, encoded by the above structure. Also, a transgenic cell, a transgenic plant, a transgenic plant seed, containing the above nucleic acid structure, and a method for producing the aforementioned plant and cell are disclosed. The invention also relates to a method for controlling a population of the western corn rootworm, as well as to a sprayable composition for fighting the western corn rootworm.
EFFECT: invention allows one to effectively fight the western corn rootworm.
