GEAR TRANSMISSION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F16H55/08 F16H57/04

Abstract RU 2649780 C1

FIELD: engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in tooth gears. Gear transmission comprises interfaced twin gears, each consisting of a body and a toothed crown with teeth. In the head of each tooth of each wheel, from the side of its top, along its width, a set of equal-sized cutouts oriented parallel to the plane of rotation of the wheel is made. Length of the cutouts is equal to the thickness of the head portion in which they are made, the cross-section of the notches is rectangular. Distances between all cutouts are the same, the sum of the uncut portions of the width of the tip of the head is equal to the quotient of dividing the width of the tooth by the value of the gear engagement multiplicity. Depth of the notches does not exceed the height of the lateral tooth surfaces on the side of its vertex with a meshing, large one-pair. Bottom of the notches is located along an arc of a circle, coaxial to the wheel. And cutouts in the teeth of twin gears are made with the ability to interface uncut sections of their heads over the entire width of these sections.

EFFECT: providing higher quality of lubrication process of gear transmission.
