SUBSTANCE: invention relates to arbitration in information processing systems in the organization of data exchange between devices. Multi-hop priority arbiter contains N groups of external query inputs IZ1, IZ2, …, IZN, each of which contains M rank bits of priority, M of the first groups U1_i, U2_i, …, UN_i, each of which contains N external exits of indexes of the number of the group of the highest priority (i=1, 2, …, M), the second group of M external outputs of rankers of priority rank in the group, group of M first indicator blocks of the higher unit, a group of N second indicator blocks of the highest unit 4₁, 4₂, …, 4_N, the third group of M elements OR, each i-th first block (i=1, 2, …, M) contains the first group of (N-2) OR elements, the first group of (N-1) inhibition elements AND with one inverse input, N inputs and N outputs, and each j-th second block (j=1, 2, …, N) contains the second group of (M-1) inhibition elements AND with one inverse input, a second group of (M-2) OR elements, 2(M-1) inputs and (M-1) outputs.

EFFECT: expansion of functionality in the part of forming M groups of indexes of the number of the query group in the unitary code "1 of N" in the order of precedence priority and priority rank in the group.
