FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical engineering and instrument making, namely to the technology of formation of nanostructured oxide coatings of the system Ti-Ta-(Ti,Ta)xOy on products made of technical titanium, including implantable intraosseous constructs. Method for forming a nanostructured tantalum-containing oxide coating on the surface of a product made of technical titanium includes electrospark doping of the titanium base with tantalum and thermo-modifying treatment by induction heating in air, while electrospark doping is carried out at a current density of 250–800 kA/m2, and the thermo-modifying treatment of the products is carried out at a temperature of 950–1000°C for 0.25–0.5 minutes at a current frequency on an inductor 90±10 kHz and consumed specific electric power 0.2–0.4 W/kg, after which cooling in air is carried out.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at the formation on the surface of products made of technical titanium coatings with a hardness of 10–11 5/10 GPa at a modulus of elasticity of 400–550 GPa, consisting of tantalum and titanium oxides with the size of structural elements from 30 to 120 nm.
