SUBSTANCE: method of coding comprises obtaining of one or more motion vectors, each of which is associated with a section of the image with predefined spatial correlation with the section of the image which is a subject of coding, delete one or more duplicated motion vectors obtained from one or more motion vectors, then compare target amount of motion vectors with the remaining amount of one or more motion vectors as candidates that have not been removed, and if the amount of one or the remaining motion vectors is below the target amount of motion vectors, add at least one additional motion vector as a candidate to generate the target amount of motion vectors for the section of the image which is the subject of coding.

EFFECT: reducing spatial and temporal redundancies in video streams.
