FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: neutrons moderator is produced by the sintered from magnesium fluoride powder disc-shaped parts superimposing and joining, which do not have cracks and chips, but have a high relative density. To produce part as the intermediate element, filling the mold with the high-purity magnesium fluoride powder by tumbling and sintering by pulsed electric current with pressure application. From the produced parts three intermediate laminated elements are formed by superimposition and bonding, wherein for the second element production before the assembly parts are drilled with the tapered hole formation in the part center, and for the third element production, prior to assembly the parts are conically shaped on the outer peripheral surface. To produce the neutrons moderator, the intermediate layered elements are connected so that the second layered element was placed above the first one, with the cone-shaped hole upwards, and the third one was attached to the first element lower surface, with the conical part downwards.
EFFECT: invention relates to the neutrons moderator used for neutron capture therapy.
