SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and biology. Method for detecting early physiological cardiac malfunction in children with phenol contamination includes the taking blood samples from the child and the determination of the phenol content in the sample, taking a sample of the buccal epithelium and isolation from this sample of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), genotyping of polymorphism of MTHFR and SULTIAI genes, studying of genotypes of the gene MTHFR C677T (rs1801133) and gene SULTIAI G2663A (rs9282861), while simultaneously meeting the following conditions: presence of variant homozygous or heterozygous genotypes of the gene MTHFR C677T (rs1801133) and gene SULTIAI G2663A (rs9282861), and if the concentration of phenol in the blood exceeds the background level by more than 1.5 times, the child is diagnosed with early physiological cardiac malfunction in the form of functional cardiopathy associated with contamination with phenol.
EFFECT: method is proposed for detecting early physiological cardiac malfunction in children.
