FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical technique. Wide-band reflective filter with the short-wave length radiation cutoff contains the system of four mirrors that are made with the possibility of their moving, it modifies the gliding angle θ, under which each mirror is illuminated. Direction of propagation and the spatial position of the radiation beam at the output of the reflective filter after sequential reflection from each of the mirrors does not change when the mirrors are moved. System of four mirrors may represent the two pairs of mirrors, in each of which the two flat mirrors, the normal lines to the surface of which are collinear and have opposite direction, are immovably fixed in relation to each other, where both pairs of mirrors are performed with the possibility of their rotation in opposite directions around the two parallel axes.
EFFECT: possibility of creating the wide-band reflective filter, which is characterized by the wavelength λco the short-wave length radiation cutoff that is adjustable within the range of 10–100 nm, by the sharp slope of the cut, high contrast, reliability and serviceability.
