FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and perinatology, and can be used to predict the risk of developing foetal macrosomia with underlying gestational diabetes mellitus in patients after using assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Up to 22 weeks of pregnancy, the level of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) is determined, PPARG P12A gene polymorphism and duration of post-transfer gestagen support in ART programs with subsequent calculation of prognostic index M. If M > 0, a high risk of developing foetal macrosomia is predicted. If M < 0, no risk of foetal macrosomia is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the risk of developing foetal macrosomia with underlying gestational diabetes mellitus in the patients after ART by calculating the prognostic index M within 22 weeks of pregnancy.
