FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles electrical traction systems. Power supply system for an electric vehicle comprises a battery, an inverter, first and second voltage converters, temperature and current acquisition units, and a controller. When the temperature of the first transducer becomes higher than the temperature threshold and the current flowing in the second transducer is higher than the current threshold, the battery output power is reduced. When the temperature of the first transducer becomes higher than the temperature threshold and the current flowing in the second transducer is lower than the current threshold, the switching of the second switching element of the first transducer with the first duty ratio is controlled while the upper arm in the second transducer is fixed. Alternatively, the switching of the second switching element of the second converter with the second duty cycle ratio smaller than the first is controlled and the switching of the first switching element is controlled. In this case, the first switching elements are reversed in relation to the second switching elements.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the temperature of the voltage converters.
