FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a mouse for the expression of a humanized protein SIRPα, comprises a replacement of exons 2, 3 and 4 of a mouse SIRPα gene at an endogenous mouse SIRPα locus with exons 2, 3 and 4 of a human SIRPα gene to form a humanized SIRPα gene, as well as to the cell and tissue of the above mouse. Method of obtaining the mouse is also disclosed. Invention also relates to a method of engrafting human cells into a mouse, a method for phagocytosis of a labeled substrate, a method for altering phagocytosis, as well as a method of assessing the therapeutic efficacy of a potential drug, using the above-mentioned mouse or cell thereof.
EFFECT: invention is effective in the use of graft engraftment assays, phagocytosis activation and signal transduction.
