FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a genetically modified mouse which expresses a SIRPα protein human and human IL-15 protein, as well as to a method for production thereof. Also disclosed is a method of engraftment of human hematopoietic cells of said genetically modified mouse. Invention also relates to a method for identifying an agent which suppresses a pathogen infection, as well as to a method for determining the efficacy of a potential therapeutic antibody or antigen-binding protein in a NC cell-mediated destruction of a target cell using the above mouse.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to effectively model the development and functioning of human natural killer cells (NC).
