SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and relates to a method for detecting MUC-1 proteolysis products having a C-terminal lysine in a liquid, in which the test liquid is brought into contact with the test system to detect MUC-1 proteolysis products having a C-terminal lysine, which includes at least one of the following: a full-length molecule of plasminogen, its fragment having a sequence SEQ ID NO: 1–4, 6–20. System contains labeled monoclonal antibodies to MUC-1 and a solid carrier with one of the attached to it: a full-length plasminogen molecule, its fragment having a sequence SEQ ID NO: 1–4, 6–20, or monoclonal antibodies attached to the carrier to MUC-1 and labeled with one of: a full-length plasminogen molecule, it’s fragment having a sequence SEQ ID NO: 1–4, 6–20. If the threshold level of optical density, determined for a liquid that does not have MUC-1 with C-terminal lysine, is exceeded, the increased content of MUC-1 proteolysis products having a C-terminal lysine is determined in the test liquid.

EFFECT: invention provides detection of a subject having an elevated level of MUC-1 with a C-terminal lysine that is capable to bind to plasminogen or it’s fragments.
