FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes tillage, seed treatment, growing seedlings with a closed root system and planting it in open ground in a given pattern. Before planting, seedlings at the site dig holes according to a predetermined planting pattern at a depth of 12–15 cm, which is shed with water at the rate of 3–5 liters per well. Soil surface is covered with mulch material. After warming up the soil to 12–15°C in the mulching material over the wells make cross-shaped incisions, in which prepared seedlings of sweet corn are planted with simultaneous watering.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain high steady yields of cobs in the zone of Middle Ural without additional inter-row treatments.
