FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of smoking articles. Apparatus for combining tobacco sheets comprises a first shaft, a second shaft and a splicing unit. First shaft carries a first bobbin of tobacco sheet. Second shaft carries a second bobbin of tobacco sheet. Splicing unit is configured for combining an end portion of tobacco sheet from the first bobbin to a head portion of tobacco sheet from the second bobbin. Splicing unit comprises a cutting device, a dispensing device and a combining device. Cutting device provides complementary cuts to the tobacco sheets from the first bobbin and from the second bobbin. Dispensing device dispenses water to the tobacco sheets. Combining device applies force onto the tobacco sheets thereby producing a spliced tobacco sheet.
EFFECT: reliability of combining tobacco sheets is provided.
