FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for controlling fuel feed into engine intake manifold. Disclosed are systems and methods for using cooling effect of charge from fuel injection to manifold (22). Charge cooling effect from the planned fuel injection into the collector can be predicted based on the feedback data received from the charge temperature sensor (23) in the header during the previous injection event into the collector. If sufficient cooling of the charge is not predicted, injection of fuel into the collector is temporarily switched off.
EFFECT: technical result is accurate estimation of evaporated amount and fuel charge facilitating cooling effect.
