SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pharmacology, and can be used in cell technologies. 7-(2-hydroxyethyl)theophylline is used as an agent stimulating colony-forming capacity of mesenchymal progenitor cells.
EFFECT: use of the given invention enables in vitro stimulation of colony-forming capacity of mesenchymal progenitor cells, increase the number of fibroblast colonies containing both committed stromal mesenchymal progenitor cells and multipotent mesenchymal stem cells.
