FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and a method of producing vanadium electrolyte with high purity and high activity. According to the invention, a system and a method of producing a vanadium electrolyte involves converting high-purity vanadium oxytrichloride to an ammonium salt in fluidised bed (2) by ammonisation of the gas phase, reduction of ammonium salt in vanadium oxide of low valence with average valence of vanadium 3.5 in another fluidised bed (3), addition of pure water and sulfuric acid for dissolution and subsequent activation with ultrasound to obtain vanadium electrolyte with valence of 3.5, which can be directly used in a new completely vanadium flow-through redox storage battery. Method of producing an ammonium salt with vanadium content in fluidised bed (2) by ammonia gas phase takes little time and is highly efficient. Accurate control of the valence state of the reduction product is carried out by placing the inner element in the fluidised recovery layer (3), and the vanadium ions are activated by ultrasound, which considerably increases the activity of the electrolyte.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency, quality and good purity of product, economic and social benefit.
