FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for predictive hierarchical control of an intelligent transport system when moving a column comprising a driving pilot vehicle (DPV) and at least one guided automatically controlled unmanned vehicle (UV), where in real time monitoring and two-way transmission of data on route from DPV to each UV on technical condition of each UV and on local road and weather conditions along its route. At that, transmission is carried out successively through means of communication and control, made with multichannel, hierarchically subordinate in accordance with the order of movement of DPV and UV in the column. Automatically, UV send reports on results of execution of actions on movement corresponding to requirements of route map of each UV. DPV driver defines each newly identified section of the route with determination of local control points of its beginning and end, as well as type of dangerous or modified route and/or traffic conditions, and the column movement control system automatically ensures safe passage of the changed route by all UV included in the column.
EFFECT: higher safety, reliability and stability of transport communication in heavy transport conditions.
