FIELD: transport communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling a smart transport system. The method for prognostic hierarchical control of a smart transport system contains a leading pilot vehicle (hereinafter – PV) and one led and automatically controlled unmanned vehicle (hereinafter – UV), wherein real-time monitoring and two-way transmission of route data from the PV to each UV about the technical condition of each UV and about local road and weather conditions along the route of its movement are carried out. The driver of the PV determines each newly identified really changed section of the route with the definition of local control points of its beginning and ending, and the system of controlling column movement automatically ensures the safe passage of the changed route by all UV that are part of the column. If necessary, the column is stopped by the driver of the PV using control and communication means. An unmanned aerial vehicle (hereinafter – UAV) is launched in the direction of column movement. Reports on the state of road conditions are automatically sent in real time from the UAV video surveillance system to the PV using remote communication, and they are used to adjust the route and a set of route maps for all vehicles.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of transport communication is achieved.
