METHOD FOR BREAST CANCER PREDICTION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/574

Abstract RU 2697709 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for prediction of infiltrative breast cancer. Method involves a microscopic examination of a histologic preparation prepared from a tumour tissue selected from a patient, during which at least one type of T-lymphocyte infiltrating tumour is identified. CD4 T-lymphocytes are identified in a tumour stroma by conducting CD4-specific antigens using a biomarker that causes staining. Ratio of the number of stained cells in the stroma of the tumour is calculated to the total number of cells in the stroma of the tumour, the obtained relation is used for prognostic evaluation. If the above ratio is less than or equal to 50 %, the prognosis is considered to be favourable, while the patient's survival rate of 10 and more years is evaluated as a favourable prognosis.

EFFECT: using this method enables early detection of infiltrative breast cancer.
