SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deforming hair treatment means. Described is a deforming hair treatment agent comprising the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D), wherein molar ratio of component (B) content to content of component (A), (B)/(A) is 0.2 or more and 5 or less: (A) glyoxyl acid or hydrate thereof, or salt, (B) resorcinol, (C) water, and (D) a compound represented by following formula (1):

where R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, A1 and A2, which can be identical or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a straight or branched-chain alkenyl group containing 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted aralkyl group or an arylalkenyl group having 7 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group or a straight or branched-chain alkenyloxy group containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a halogen atom or -CO-R2 (where R2 is an alkyl or straight or branched-chain alkenyl group containing 1 to 12 carbon atoms, optionally substituted aralkyl group or arylalkenyl group having 7 to 12 carbon atoms, or an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group containing 6 to 12 carbon atoms), B is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a straight or branched-chain alkenyl group having 1–12 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted aralkyl group or an arylalkenyl group having 7 to 12 carbon atoms, -OR3 or -COOR3 (where R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group or a straight or branched-chain alkenyl group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms), D represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a methyl group or alkoxy group, or a straight or branched chain alkenyloxy group containing 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and E is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group or a straight or branched chain alkenyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group or a straight or branched chain alkenyloxy group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, that two or three of A1, A2, B and E are hydrogen atoms, and the remaining groups do not include a sulpho group, and that when D denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, A1 and B or A2 and B together with two adjacent carbon atoms form a benzene ring optionally substituted with a hydroxy group.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of hair treatment agent, which is safe for human body and has less harm to hair, without damaging hair.
