SUBSTANCE: cartridge (100) comprises: container (102) for storage of liquid, containing: first liquid composition (110) and second composition; several capsules (112), each capsule containing a second composition for separating the second composition from the first liquid composition; capsule holder; and outlet (106) in a liquid container for delivering an aerosol-forming substrate from a liquid container. First liquid composition and the second composition can alternatively be separated by a separating wall which is permeable to the liquid. Also described is aerosol-generating device (200) configured to receive cartridge (100) to form an aerosol-generating system.
EFFECT: present invention relates to a cartridge for an aerosol generating system.
