FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in lifetime detection of germination of choroid melanoma (CM) into the retina. That is ensured by OCT using EDI mode. If there is a conglomerate of retina and choroid and / or a rupture zone of the Bruch's membrane and retinal pigment epithelium with disturbed differentiation of the choroid and retinal layers, the germination of choroid melanoma into the retina is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables selecting an adequate therapeutic approach to CM and predicting preservation of the eye by detecting features of CM propagation on surrounding tissues.
