FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to methods and systems for selective disconnection of individual engine cylinders. Method for the engine, in which the assessment of the air charge for the cylinder in the current engine operating cycle is corrected depending on the suction statistics into the cylinder, including - from suction state to cylinder in immediately preceding engine operating cycle. Fuel is injected into the cylinder depending on corrected estimation of air charge.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of assessment of air charge for engine, as well as high accuracy of determining coefficient of filling cylinder.
