SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and concerns a kit for determining proenkephalin and fragments of proenkephalin in a sample containing two binding molecules which bind to two different areas in the area of proenkephalin, consisting of amino acids 133-140 (LKELLETG, SEQ ID NO: 22) and amino acids 152-159 (SDNEEEVS, SEQ ID NO: 23), where each binding molecule is an antibody which binds only to one of said areas in the area of proenkephalin, and where each of said regions comprises at least 4 or 5 amino acids. Group of inventions also relates to the use of said kit for predicting the risk of cancer, selected from breast cancer or lung cancer in a woman who does not suffer from cancer, and for stratification of said women at risk groups.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides predicting a risk of cancer selected from breast cancer or lung cancer in a woman who does not suffer from cancer, and stratification of said women at risk groups.
