SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering and can be used for identification of spacecrafts and their fragments in outer space using space monitoring equipment. Method for identifying spacecrafts and their debris in outer space using space monitoring means comprises steps of at which information on manufacturers of space equipment is encoded by radioactive radiation characteristics, fixing each of them a certain nuclide, which in capsules is placed in special technological holes of corresponding spacecrafts, and belonging of space vehicle to specific manufacturer of space equipment is determined by radiation of nuclide placed on this device.
EFFECT: high reliability of identifying spacecrafts and their debris in outer space.
