FIELD: separation.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a separation vortex tube, a third stage separator and a method of removing solid particles from a gas stream. Separation vortex tube for separation of gas and solid particles includes a tubular case, an inlet hole of gas with solid particles, a pipeline of gas inlet, a blade and a VSP-vortex stabilizer containing a truncated or conical base. Separation vortex tube does not contain S-shaped rod. VSP vortex stabilizer comprises top surface (252), first lateral surface (253), second lateral surface (254) and bottom (255). Upper surface (252) has diameter ranging from 0.05 m to 0.5 m, second side surface (254) has initial diameter and final diameter. Initial diameter of second side surface (254) is equal to that of top surface (252). Ratio of the final diameter of the second side surface (254) to the initial diameter of the second side surface ranges from 1.5:1 to 5:1.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of separation efficiency of solid particles and gas.
