SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a brewing device for preparation of a hot beverage, in particular to a coffee machine for preparation of a coffee beverage. Brewing device (1) for hot beverage preparation includes hot water supply device (22) with hot water outlet (22A); brewing unit (31) for brewing process for brewed hot beverage preparation, configured to receive hot water from hot water supply device (22) and to dispense the brewed hot beverage through fluid outlet line (36) to hot beverage outlet (65); bypass line (40) of hot water; controlled hot water switching device (50), which is configured to periodically connect hot water bypass line (40) to hot water supply device (22) outlet (22A), wherein hot water supplied to bypass line (40) of hot water can be supplied to outlet (65) of hot beverage; control unit (5) for control of hot water switching device (50). Hot beverage outlet (65) includes hot beverage dispensing line (60), wherein fluid outlet line (36) is located downstream of brewing unit (31), and the hot water bypass line (40) enters downstream from the hot water switching device (50) into the hot beverage dispensing line (60) such that the hot beverage and the hot water fed to the bypass hot water line (40) can be discharged through line (60) for dispensing a hot beverage.
