FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to assessment of road conditions in environments of underground mining. System for assessing road conditions in an environment of underground production includes an electronic processor which receives sensor data from an accelerometer and data of the location of a mining machine operating in a production environment. Electronic processor determines, based on the sensor data, the first data point when the acceleration in the first direction exceeds the predetermined first threshold value based on the sensor data and determines the second data point when the acceleration in the second direction opposite to the first direction exceeds the predetermined second threshold value. Electronic processor also determines the position of the road state associated with the first data point and the second data point based on the location data and undertakes at least one automatic action to correct the state of the road.
EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of detecting road conditions.
