FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and system for ionisation of engine with the help of ionized air. During maintenance, a maintenance specialist can provide for supply of ionized air from an external ionized air source through the engine air intake system into the cylinder of said engine. Simultaneously, the maintenance specialist may attach the maintenance tool to the diagnostic port of the vehicle in order to transmit the operator input, by means of which the vehicle control system can perform engine rotation and control of the engine throttle and cams.
EFFECT: invention discloses methods and system for restoration of an engine using ionized air.
