FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy and cardiology, and can be used for prediction of risk of hospitalizations during a year in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD). That is ensured by measuring blood serum homocysteine (HC) in mcMol/l, triglycerides (TG) in mmol/l, chaperone activity (CA) in percentage, C-reactive protein (CRP) in mg/ml, as well as the value of systolic blood pressure (SBP) in mm Hg and age in years. Based on the above values, a probability index of hospital admissions of the patient with IHD is calculated in conventional units by formula: IHD = 2.175−0.029*CA−0.159*HC+0.418*CRP−0.129*TG+0.007*SBP+0.013*age. If IHD is more than or equal to 0.46 standard units, a high probability of hospitalization during the next year of follow-up is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables assessing the probability of developing coronary heart disease complications in patients requiring treatment in a hospital setting.
