SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for movement assistance. Method of assisting in motion to predict the action of another vehicle comprises steps of detecting another vehicle and objects near the vehicle in question, setting the region in the dead zone, which is a dead zone relative to the other vehicle, indicating an object present in the dead zone area and predicting the action taken by the other vehicle in accordance with the said object. Travel assistance device for predicting the action of another vehicle comprises an object detection sensor configured to detect another vehicle and objects near the vehicle in question and a controller configured to predict the action of the other vehicle.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driver.
