SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for driving assistance. Method for movement assistance by movement assistance device for detection of action of other vehicle around considered vehicle with assistance in movement to considered vehicle based on detected action of another vehicle. Method comprises obtaining a driving characteristic of another vehicle, establishing an intersection area, in which the movement area of the considered vehicle and the movement area of the other vehicle intersect with each other, and detection of the action of the other vehicle, which enters the intersection zone. Driving characteristics determine whether other vehicle is in autonomous driving mode. Detection of the action of the other vehicle takes place in accordance with the result of determining whether another vehicle is in the autonomous driving mode.
