FIELD: medicine; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanopowders of silicon and can be used in dentistry and biomedicine for production of photoluminescent labels. Method of producing nanopowders of porous silicon involves etching with acidified concentrated sulphuric acid to pH 4 with an aqueous solution of ammonium fluoride NH4F of monocrystalline silicon in a cell of electrochemical anodic etching with a stainless steel counter electrode, washing the obtained porous material in distilled water, mechanically separating from the crystalline substrate, grinding, drying the obtained powder in natural conditions, wherein aqueous solution of ammonium fluoride NH4F is used with concentration equal to 40 %.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining nanopowder of porous silicon, which exhibits high-intensity photoluminescence when excited by a source with wavelength of 337 nm and higher using a less toxic aqueous solution of ammonium fluoride while maintaining high efficiency of the process.
