SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of controlling movement of vehicles and devices for controlling movement of vehicles. Method for controlling movement of a vehicle comprises determining whether a vehicle is about to enter a lane, on which charging point is provided and after it is determined that vehicle is going to enter such lane, stopping vehicle in position before charging point in direction of vehicle movement. Vehicle movement control device comprises a camera, a drive unit, which controls the vehicle braking force, the lane determination unit, which determines whether the vehicle is going to enter the lane, on which there is a charging station and a traffic control unit, which after it is determined that the vehicle is going to enter such lane, stops vehicle in position before charging point in direction of vehicle movement.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driver.
