FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used for erythrocyte protection in cardiosurgical patients operated in conditions of artificial blood circulation. That is ensured by inhalations of molecular hydrogen H2. Hydrogen is fed into the respiratory circuit of the artificial ventilation apparatus in concentration of 1.5–2 % immediately after tracheal intubation and throughout the operation.
EFFECT: invention enables reducing erythrocyte aggregation parameters in cardiopulmonary bypass in cardiopulmonary bypass, which improves functional myocardial parameters and clinical state.
