SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing polycarbonate ether polyol, a polymerisation system, a polycarbonate ether polyol and polyurethane or other high-molecular polymer. Disclosed is a method of producing polycarbonate ether polyol, involving reaction of carbon dioxide and epoxide in the presence of a double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst, catalyst of formula (I) and starting compound, in which catalyst of formula (I) has the following structural formula:

Polycarbonate ether polyol obtained using said method is used to produce polyurethane or other high-molecular polymer, which is used as heat-insulating panels, high-performance adhesives, high-strength foam seats, sealants and seals, wheels and tires, synthetic fibers.
EFFECT: technical result is a method of producing polycarbonate ether polyol, which has a narrow molecular weight distribution of 500 to about 10000 Da and which has a wide range of ratios of carbonate bonds to ether bonds (can be greater than zero but less than 1).
