SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for reducing the accumulation of polymer resin in the production of methyl methacrylate and/or methacrylic acid by the method using cyanohydrin acetone, in which a stabilizer interacts with a reaction medium of an amide stage, where the stabilizer includes a hydrocarbon fragment capable of transferring a labile hydrogen atom to a methacrylamide derivative capable of interacting with the labile hydrogen atom under conditions in the specified medium, where the stabilizer is selected from a group including squalane; 9,10-dihydroanthracene; adamantane; tert-dodecyl polysulfide; antron; hemisqualane; camphor; 4-methylnonane, triacontane; petroleum diesel fuel; automotive fuel; and decane.
EFFECT: obtaining methyl methacrylate or methacrylic acid.
