FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for restoring the crank pins of crankshafts of internal combustion engines. Detonation spraying of composite materials is executed, wherein the first layer is applied with a powder material of the VK-25 tungsten-cobalt alloy with a thickness of 0.02 to 0.035 mm, excluding the near-fillet areas of the crank pins, and the second layer is applied along the length of the crank pin with a wear-resistant powder alloy PR-N70H17S4R4, followed by subjecting the crank pins and chamfers to electric contact melting conducted at the following parameters: current strength Iw = 4...8 kA, voltage U = 3 to 5 V, pressure force on the roller tool P = 1000 to 1700N, crankshaft rotation speed nd = 1.5...3.5 rpm, welding pulse duration tw = 0.05 to 0.10 s, pause duration tp = 0.06 to 0.08 s. Low-temperature tempering is then executed, followed by subjecting the crankshaft to correction at the tempering temperature, followed by cooling in a straightened fixed state to the normal temperature.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of increasing the adhesion strength of applied coatings.
