FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for monitoring tires on a tire production line, in particular, by obtaining images of inner and outer surfaces of a tire and their subsequent processing, for example, to determine possible presence of detected defects on tire surface. Tire control method includes operations for obtaining images of tire surface at station (1; 2; 3), comprising first device (4) and second device (5), which are both mounted on corresponding element (6) to provide movement, wherein at each operation obtaining a corresponding image substantially simultaneously, wherein first device (4) obtains corresponding image of corresponding circular peripheral section of outer surface, and second device (5) receives corresponding image of corresponding circular peripheral section of inner surface.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a set of images peripheral areas of tire surface for a limited amount of time, as well as reduced area occupied by control stations.
