FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation in ice conditions. Essence of invention consists in excitation of flexural-gravity waves in ice when underwater ship under ice moves at resonant speed. During movement, the ship is given a positive buoyancy, and shifting the hull and stern horizontal rudders to negative angles of attack periodically with frequency of resonant flexural-gravity waves for a period of time equal to half of their period.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of ice destruction.
