FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to underwater vessels destroying ice cover during surfacing. Ice cover is proposed to be destroyed by submarine by its attachment to ice by means of anchor and rope. Available onboard ballast tanks are filled with outboard water. Vessel, using pre-installed in its ends thrust devices provide rotation around its vertical main axis of inertia, note here that rope is attached to ship at point located on its rotational axis while swivel is arranged therein.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice breaking.
