FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly, to underwater vessels destroying ice cover during surfacing. Ice cover is proposed to be destructed by submarine by its attachment to ice by means of anchor and rope with subsequent filling of ballast tanks with outboard water. Vessel with help of thrust devices installed in its ends provides rotation around its vertical main central axis of inertia in one direction, and then changing its rotation to the opposite one, wherein the cable is attached to the ship at a point located on its axis of rotation, and in the cable there is a swivel.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of ice cover destruction due to hydraulic shock creation under ice.
