SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Disclosed is a method of estimating cell migration into a structure of a material or a scaffold. Intact mesenchymal stem cells or fibroblasts are sown to the samples of the material or scaffold, then the samples with cells are stained with fluorochrome, fluorescence microscopy is carried out in 10 fields of vision with layer-by-layer shooting along the Z axis to the cell migration depth into the sample structure, with fixation of cell nucleation depth relative to sample surface and subsequent calculation of cell migration rate into structure of material or scaffold by formula A = B/t.

EFFECT: invention provides cost reduction, reduction of time costs, labour intensiveness and increase in accessibility of the method for evaluation of cell migration into material/scaffold structure.
