FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Braking system brake block of drum type, containing metal holder of sectoral circular shape and ceramic pad of sectoral circular shape, connected to inner side of metal holder, further comprises a metal plate of material of hardness less than hardness of material of brake drum, having electrical contact and located on lateral side of brake shoe, electrically insulated and mechanically rigidly connected to shoe, wherein plate protrudes from metal holder on ceramic pad by value of permissible minimum thickness of pad, obtained with maximum wear. Light signalling of lamp L characterizes serviceability of brake shoes.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced amount of work and time control of brake pads, improved traffic safety.
