SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for facilitating movement. Method for facilitating movement includes steps of detecting a vehicle environment, generating a first motion path based on an environment and facilitating movement of vehicle based on first path, generating second path based on map information near vicinity of vehicle, determining that first path and second path of movement have similarities, and switching the movement path, according to which vehicle is instructed to follow by means of traffic assistance control, from first movement path to second movement path, when first path and second path are defined as having similarity. First and second paths of motion have similarity when the divergence between them is less than the predetermined threshold value at the point having distance from the vehicle greater than or equal to the distance of the observation point of the front side.

EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driving is achieved.
