SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and machine for decorating a surface of a base article comprising a ceramic material, and the present invention relates to a method and system for making ceramic articles. Method involves several stages. At the transportation stage, the main article is transported along the specified path through the application station, the work station located after the application station, and a downstream station located downstream of the workstation. At the application step, the printing unit located at the application station applies the adhesive material selectively in at least a defined surface area, so that at least additional surface area, other than certain area, remains without adhesive material. At the deposition step, the processing unit located on the workstation applies the powder material on the adhesive material selectively in a defined surface area so as not to cover at least part of additional surface area itself. At the stage of removal excess of powder material, in particular, not connected with adhesive material placed on the main product, is removed to the removal station. Main article is transported through working station in direction of advance. At that, processing assembly comprises at least a container, a group of distributing elements, which are arranged in series along outlet hole, group of actuators, each of which moves corresponding distributing element between closed position. Corresponding distribution element blocks the passage of powder material through the area of the outlet hole in which it is located, and an open position. Container is configured to contain powder material and having an outlet, longitudinal expansion of which is transverse, in particular, perpendicular, to direction of movement. At that, the corresponding distributing element allows passage of the powder material through the area of the outlet hole, in which it is located.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of application of powder material and reduced excess of powder material.
