SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a method for compacting a powder material and a method for manufacturing ceramic products. The method for compacting a powder material (CP) containing ceramic powder includes at least a first compacting step and a conveying step. At the same time, during the compaction step, the powder material (CP) is compacted at the workstation (3) to obtain a layer of compacted powder material (KP). Moreover, the pressing device (7), having a structured contact surface (8), comes into contact with the powder material (CP) so that the layer of compacted powder material (KP) has a structured surface. During the transportation stage, the powder material (CP) is transported along the first segment (PA) of the predetermined trajectory to the workstation (3) and the layer of compacted powder material (KP) is transported from the workstation (3) along the second segment (PB) of the predetermined trajectory. The pressing device (7) comprises at least a first layer (10) and a surface layer (11) arranged so as to at least partially cover the first layer (10) with respect to the outside. In the first stage of compaction, the surface layer (11) comes into contact with the powder material (CP) and at least part of the surface layer (11) wears out so that it reveals at least part of the first layer (10) and receives at least areas of the first inverted outside layer (10). The method includes at least a first curing step, which occurs at least partially simultaneously and/or after the first densification step, and in which the regions of the first outwardly facing layer (10) are cured.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of powder material compaction and improving quality of the manufacture of ceramic products.
